Chapter 18: Where Real Dialogue Still Works

Dialogue hasn't disappeared, it's been displaced. It survives where it doesn't scale, doesn't reward performance, and doesn't translate into metrics. Small groups produce more accurate understanding, lower hostility, and greater willingness to revise assumptions. The difference isn't intelligence, it's structure.
